Master Mat™ Engineered Wood Fiber is a playground surfacing material that meets or exceeds ASTM standards for impact attenuation on playground surfaces installed under and around play equipment.
The material is manufactured from pure virgin cypress wood fiber and consists of randomly sized fibers, with most pieces not exceeding 4 inches in length and approximately ten times longer than they are wide. The product is produced from green wood, is free of twigs, leaf debris, and foreign organic material, and is designed specifically for playground and recreational use.
